eww don't make me take back my "Bless You!"

i'm currently writing on a saturday night whilst sitting in a coffee shop.. my internet isn't working so until i get it fixed i shall visit my fave coffee shop in ATX. today was jam packed... had a funny audition for a tv show that i am sure i am not suited for but it was fun at least.

 

God's blessings sometimes look rather odd. 

the other night after my workout with Greg, i ate a sandwich from Jimmy Johns. a tasty treat actually! i head home to shower and watch the season finale of Grey's... WELL... all of a sudden IT hits me. my tummy is hurtin'... but i'm home so... OMG... WOW! i went from complete health to exercising the demons from my... *COUGH*... so.. in the midst of this disaster, my cell is ringing constantly in the other room... low and behold i was supposed to be at the first rehearsal for a film i was recently cast in... errrrr i totally forgot because i was obsessed with watching greys... so here's the moral of the story. yeah maybe it sucks to miss rehearsal. and maybe it sucks to have "explosive" moments. but hey God totally blessed me in that he allowed me and my ...issue... to be safe and at home! ha! :) 

so i keep having to go to the library and this coffee shop to check my email for auditions and junk because of my internet issue... sucks... except early this morning i am chillin at the coffee shop replying to business emails and junk and realize that the people behind me are talking with someone they are interviewing to do special effects makeup for their film in which part will be shot in south america and yada yada yada... sooo i took this as a networking opportunity and before i left i grabbed a headshot and resume from my car and gave it to them. they were pretty cool and who knows maybe they will call me one day. we'll see. so crummy internet problem could be a blessing in disguise. hopefully they fix it tomorrow or monday though...

okay. so i am about to go home and watch Across the Universe because its raining outside and i am sooo freaking tired of being out and about. i just wanna rest and be chillaxing the rest of the weekend. um yeah the guy across the room in the top hat (i mean are you kiddin' me? are you the mad hater from alice's tea party?) just sneezed really big and totally did the whole arm nose wipe. yep from inside elbow ALLLLLL the way to wrist. GAG ME WITH A CHAINSAW! i totally said "God bless you!" and a quiet "ewww" leaked out too OOPS! alright i better go. hope your weekend is good.

and i swear one day i'll write another song appropriate for the internet and less..well less gross... i just write about the things that inspire me.

i mean.. pirates are cool!!!

a good sunday. slept in and skipped sunday school (oops). went to "big church" (which btw, i love calling it that). lunch with my parents which included boudain OF COURSE (i can't stop eating it because i miss it so much when i am in austin). read a little of the book Let the Right One In (which i can't believe i haven't finished yet). longest nap in the history of sundays. family time and watched some behind the scenes stuff on one of the Twilight DVDs. fishing in the pond with Krissy, Brandee, and Jrod! Daddy made me a grilled cheese, yummy! went to the movies with Bran, Jrod and Krissy to see the Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. (Brandee dated Daniel Sunjata in college who played the role of Brad). 

currently thinking about a few different things. Troy. do pray for him if you read this. i can't imagine how they are all holding up through this situation except to say that the Lord God is giving them all strength they have. and also on my mind is thinking about how i have a beautiful little niece in China that i cannot wait to meet one day. Laila. ;) its like 13 hours ahead there... i think? hmm 

so this week Joshua and i are going on a trip to South Padre to board the BLACK DRAGON PIRATE SHIP! he planned this surprise for me a while back and i'm thrilled to be able to dress like a pirate and just have a blast!! Gyarrr Mateys!! Therr be many a picturre on the wayyyy! Can you believe he actually encourages my obsession with pirates?? haha what is he thinking?!

auction

so let me set the scene for you guys... spent the day hanging out with the BF. went to beaumont. had lunch with Megan & Matt from college who were in town. visited Troy, who under the circumstances looked really good today. got a dressy git-up to wear to Hillary's (Josh's sister) wedding. (Josh picked it out! and its soooo "presh" btw so i am quite impressed with this boy). hung out around home. Daddy got his tractor stuck IN the pond in the back yard. Josh and Jarrod helped him pull it out...i took pics...

so then... Josh, Mom, and I are all sitting in the kitchen/dinning area... Josh is rocking in the comfy window area chairs and we are all just chatting... he says "I just LOVE these chairs! They are awesome!" and my MOM responds with this:

"Well, if you marry Megan I will give you both chairs!"

WHAT? You mean to tell me that I am worth TWO comfy chairs that we have owned for 8 years?? she didn't even throw in an ottoman or area rugs or even a dog-gone LAMP! I mean... crap... Megan=Chairs??? are you kidding me? we got an RV outside... clearly Miss Megan isn't quite the RV status.... grrrr... so my dowry has been set... but nobody really asked my opinion... hrmmmm.

anyone want some comfy rockin' chairs? it will only cost you a lifetime of marital bliss with ME!

RANDOM thoughts: just started working on my first ever screenplay! YAY!!! i had a few ideas for a film for a while now and finally i decided to talk to my friend greg about writing it together and *cue the scary music* co-DIRECTING it too! wooooooahhh! scary but i am thrilled! i really really really want to direct a film! so far we seem to be a great creative team so i think the process is going to be a lot of fun! can't wait to get to the finished product... of course that can take... well forever. we'll see. 

wanna know what its about? hehehe i can't really tell you or i would have to kill you, but i will say it fits perfectly in the type of movies that i LOVE! its a DARK DARK Comedy that involves the Mafia/Mob... 

these are pretty much my top favorite movies... i love braveheart...mean girls... anchorman... and many others...

eventful at least

hello all!

so....i got a crash course on what it feels like to be a puppet.

 

yesterday. working out with my buddy greg. almost passed out. had horrible abdominal pain. went to ER. found out it was an ovarian cyst that ruptured. awesome. had to get an ultrasound. no big deal right? right. nope. wrong. internal ultrasound also because apparently you gotta get all up in someone's biz to see their ovaries correctly. oh joy. quite the hit. however, i'm thinking the highlight of the entire event though was when the hooker, i mean DOCTOR, doctor, decided that the ringing phone that was SEVERAL inches out of her reach was important enough to reach over and answer with her "free-hand" even though she was holding a giant, sword-like instrument in my.... *cough*... yeah try that thought on for size... ::reach reach reach:: i was thinking "BY THE GREAT BEARD OF ZEUS this is PAINFUL!" however i'll be fine. thankfully Greg and Samantha were there to help and took really good care of me!!! they are no short of awesome! 

i have a new respect and empathy for Elmo. eep.

other than THAT adventure the only other things going on this week were a few auditions (some that went well others that were so so) and a bit of shooting for the film i'm working on called "Hunters" its an action packed sci-fi film about 3 demon hunters. One who approaches it from a religious stand point, one who uses science, and another who uses pagan and witch craft. my character is the witch craft chick! she's pretty hardcore. i'm looking forward to doing my first serious hand to hand fight scene!! yay!

hello there

well hello there! and how do you do?

no one really says that anymore do they? "how do you do?" hmm here i am blogging. this uh, bloggin' business isn't too difficult is it? i mean, i am used to doing everything with one click here and there and being done. i'm a true american with the attention span and patience of a mere rock. see rocks have no attention span or patience... wait.. oh.. epic fail. thats wasn't really funny was it? blasted!!! but yes, i have little patience. has anyone noticed that recently when paying with debit cards you are now required to answer a bajillion questions just to friggin pay for your gum or late night snikers bar that you don't need since you jogged an extra 2 mins on the treadmill for....??? okay, what i mean to say is that... well it just goes like this

cashier rings in your item and tells you the total pretending not to judge you for the king size snickers bar and the fact that you are wearing jersey men's shorts and an army button up from the 60's... i mean... dead sexy right? (yes it is confirmed that i am strange... moving on... nothing to see here....).

:) i think i shall have fun with this bloggin' business... right now i'm living in ATX and currently unemployed "formally," but busy working on films and auditioning my little heart out. i have had some interesting ups and downs since graduating college about a year ago now. and believe me i will tell many funny, wild, shocking, and incriminating stories as time goes on... and i can promise to throw in a few boring blogs so that you can soak in just a little more adequate nap time! (i'm thoughtful). so stick around and y'all will hear about me flashing a preacher, threatening some gangstas' lives that i would "cap them,"  the evilness of a fraud filmmaker i want to kick in the shins, the guy that still owes me a lot money, dancing on a bar, jumping off a bridge, getting out of speeding tickets 101, attempted stunt driving, times i should have had my ace kicked, funny people i have met, all the stupid things i have said (and will continue to say) at the perfectly WRONG time, absolute rambling, great facts and stories about my family and friends, off the wall pirate cursing... and a whole lot more...
